Day Trip to Crumlin Road Gaol
The Shedders took a run up to Belfast for a long-overdue day out — and what a brilliant trip it turned out to be. We were joined by wives, partners, and a few friends from the wider community, which made the whole day feel even more special.
We started with a tour of Crumlin Road Gaol — full of history, stories, and the odd shiver down the spine. Plenty of craic along the way, and a few of the lads looked a bit too at home in the old cells for comfort.
After escaping without incident, we headed over to Robinsons for lunch. Great food, great service, and the usual Shed banter flowing around the table.
All in all, it was an extremely enjoyable day — laughs, good company, and the kind of easy craic that makes these trips so worthwhile.
Here’s to many more days like it.
